We’re offering 3/4 night Hiking and Trail Running packages.

No better way to experience the Karoo Veld and roaming antelope than on foot over the vast and varied terrain, and then returning each evening to luxury accommodation, delicious Karoo food and warm hospitality.

The best holidays are not by visiting lovely places, but by experiencing the true essence of what a region like the Great Karoo has to offer; on foot one feels so close to the nature of this special region of South Africa.

Suitable for any age group or fitness level, as they are all fully supported.

This is a great way to get over the vast Karoo!

BloemhofKaroo has a 1,2km runway just 400m from the farm homestead, which can accommodate a Pilatis, King Air, Cessna or other light aircraft. There is always much excitement when guest house staff first see the approaching aircraft circling the area prior to landing.

Guests will be taken on game drives, guided walks, or can soak up the Karoo from the comfort of the guest house.
