We are renowned for our excellent Karoo Kitchen where our welcoming, and talented cooks rustle up real home-style cooking. Venison and lamb pies, “boereboontjies”, honeyed pumpkin, quince jelly, farm baked bread and “roosterkoek “are some of the specialties you will enjoy during your Karoo stay.
Breakfasts are included in our rate. Lunch and dinner can be booked with your reservation, and enjoyed outside in our tranquil garden beneath the shade of a Pepper Tree, or in one of our two Dining Rooms.
For sundowners, why not walk out to Kudu Rock and watch the spectacular sunset as the sky catches fire in pinks, oranges and purples, before the stars peak out and illuminate the Karoo skies.
All alcoholic beverages and soft drinks to be paid in cash prior to departure. A range of excellent wines are available.

There are no self- catering facilities.
Bloemhof offers a small selection of Biltong, Droewors, Karoo meat packs, Karu Blu spring water, curios gifts and preserves, all of which make for great gifts when returning home.
A visit to our Farm will always involve Roosterkoek, a bread dough cooked over open coals... ...delicious!
It is quite an art to get these perfectly right and evenly cooked, turning quickly over hot coals, without burning fingers.
