KAROO FARM ACCOMMODATION
Karoo Life of a past era has been comfortably and tastefully resurrected in this beautiful original guest farm homestead.
BLOEMHOF KAROO is a historic home on an authentic Karoo guest farm, once owned and loved by Professor Christiaan Barnard. The Homestead rests graciously in an oasis amongst kopjes on a working guest farm in the Malaria free, Northern Cape, Great Karoo. Located less than 5km from the N1, Bloemhof Karoo Farm Accommodation provides an accessible farm-style getaway for both one-night stops, and longer stays.
Guests can experience the vastness of this large Karoo Private Game Reserve where more than 2000 head of antelope roam freely. Scenic game drives can be booked spontaneously while there are also other popular activities such as hiking and cycling.
Bloemhof Karoo offers a fully catered country house experience on a working guest farm in the Karoo. We are proud of our Farm Kitchen where local delicacies and wonderful treats are prepared and served with genteel Karoo hospitality.
