Bloemhof Karoo Kitchen is one of our favourite places on the farm. Always delicious fare being prepared, dough being kneaded, pastries delicately added to Karoo lamb pies, or springbok venison pies. Dessert of the day is always a treat….but most of all is the wonderful ambience of Karoo hospitality that one experiences in the farm kitchen. The AGA stove is legendary.

 

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner can be booked with your reservation:
    • 3 Course dinner:
      • R385 per adult. 
    • 2 Course dinner:
      • R315 per adult.
    • Children under 11: R185 per child.

    • Full Breakfast at R225 per person.

DONKEY NOOK

Guests are always keen to know about all the bits and pieces that make Bloemhof Karoo unique and interesting – there are indeed some fascinating tales about where and how we’ve sourced some of the Memorabilia scattered around the guest house!

Enjoy this happy little Donkey Nook with beautiful little oil paintings of donkeys!

We have an assortment of Brass, Silver, Copper, Enamelware, Fine Bone China, and lots of well priced Bric-A-Brac; teaspoons galore, some cute old fashioned items, and unusual homeware sourced all over the Karoo.

Bloemhof Karoo Gift Shop is expanding!

Thrilled to be stocking some gorgeous large blankets, car rugs, and baby blankets.  Food covers and lined baskets, funky passion bunting, stunning leggings and designer aprons are all fabulous!  A firm favourite is also our cabled wrist warmers.

A selection of Karoo produce, homemade jams and preserves, farm Ginger Beer and Lemon syrup mostly in stock!
